Intercultural mediation can help to solve problems in organisations where people from different cultural backgrounds work together. If your team is a mutlicultural team, conflict behaviour can develop. Own feelings of identity lead to specific needs, perceptions and points of view, which the team members do not share. 
If a multicultural team works together, it cannot always be assumed that there is a common level of communication as the cultures are so different. If these problems are not solved, the team performance and consequently the productivity will suffer
